EDUCATION

Using The Journal

NIB publishes two kinds of articles that lend themselves to discussion in educational settings: case studies and narratives by patients, family members, and healthcare providers.

Case study discussion is often “adjudicative” – aiming to determine what should be done in a difficult situation. Narratives are often written with broader aims in mind such as seeking acknowledgement of suffering or calling for change. Below we provide links to resources on both case study discussions and narrative discussion groups.
